Staging and photography case study: Gerrards Cross

Last year, I was asked to help with this lovely little apartment in Gerrards Cross.  It’s a light, bright space only 60 seconds walk from the centre of this vibrant and sophisticated town, and at £235,000, is perfectly priced for first-time buyers and young ambitious couples.

My sale strategy included staging the apartment for sale, and then using a great professional property photographer.  The results are pretty conclusive, dont you think?

This lovely apartment is listed with Place Estate Agents, in Chalfont St Giles, and you can see the full details here. This is what Kim and Sam, the owners had to say about HomeTruths:

“Our flat had been on the market for over a year and we had almost lost hope when we called in Sam. She gave us solid, practical advice that helped us refocus our efforts on all the little things that add value to homes. She also showed us how to select an agent and get the most from them. We are back on the market now at the same price and have had more viewings this week than we had in six months last year. We’re very confident this time that the flat will sell fast. I would unreservedly recommend Home Truths to anyone who wants to sell a property.”

Living room – new covers for the suite and a cleaner, more contemporary look for this lovely bright room.

Kitchenvery little has changed here, but what a difference a professional photograph makes!

Hallway – a lick of paint, and this majestic period window now stands out, and looks fabulous.

Study – a really good tidy, and this room is now a great work-from-home space.
